Why do I serve? I want to be able to give back to the community and the library is an amazing resource in town that serves so many, provides a range of amazing programs and serves as a real center of our town’s vibrant cultural and civic life.
Past or present Boards/Commissions/Volunteer work: In January 2023 I joined the Simsbury Greater Together Community Fund as an Advisory Committee Member.
Employment History: I am the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hart, Inc. Previously, I was a Finance Director at Philips Healthcare.
Education: Bentley University Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Finance
Why I love Simsbury: Simsbury is such a family-friendly community, warm and welcoming, with amazing people and I think that’s what I love the most – the people I’ve met living here. Although there is so much to love about our town – from our schools, to the vibrant, engaged community life and beautiful scenery – I personally think that what really lifts our town and makes Simsbury more than just a very nice place to live is the people – you cannot beat Simsbury for the friendly, generous, kind and community-oriented quality of the people who live here. I love that about Simsbury and am eager to do my part to give back to our wonderful community.
Fun Fact: I love to travel and have been to 5 out of the 7 continents!
